I don’t know too many people who don’t think about driving a “dream car” at some point in their lives.  Seems like everyone has thought about what it would be like to drive an exotic like a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche.

I’m no different.  I’ve always loved cars, driving, and, of course, going fast.  While my fascination with exotic cars started while I was young (like many little kids), my interest in “bargain” exotics was sparked when a buddy of mine told me about a book he’d picked up titled Road & Track’s Used Car Classics.  The idea that you could drive an out of reach car like a Porsche or a Rolls Royce was amazing!

To further bolster this line of thought, a few years later European Car Magazine did a six issue series titled Super Buys: The best European high-performance used-cars on the U.S. market.  I rushed to the newsstand each month to buy the latest issue detailing another car I inevitably wanted to own and how I might get my hands on it.

So far, I have yet to actually own any of these exotcs, but I do have a list of cars I’d like to own at some point in my lifetime.  This blog is collection point of the “deals” I find, thoughts on different affordable exotic cars and the general pursuit of wine on a beer budget as my mom used to like to say.
